always was always will be
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we create and live, the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community.
As we create, we explore and work across the country, we seek advice and direction from Traditional Custodians and Owners.
We encourage you to know where you stand.
Join us in continuing to strengthen your knowledge, educate and donate to the organisations around us.

Country life
We understand regional areas, we were born and raised in them, and we return regularly for work and relaxation.
During the course of developing a project within regional areas, we work alongside council, stakeholders and artists, conducting extensive research within the community, to establish a more innate understanding of the project and ensure connection with the local story. Whilst we may live in the city, but we’re not the city folk that pitch up in suits, pointing our fingers about.
Our approach is one which is collaborative and considerate. To ensure we hit the mark, we consider a community engagement plan which identifies desired outcomes and ensures that each is measured by way of surveying opinion, tracking data and if appropriate, a diligent marketing strategy with quantified publicity outcomes.

GIPPSLANDIA
Gippslandia is a free quarterly magazine in newspaper format, for, and about, the Latrobe Valley & Gippsland.
Established in early 2016, the independent press delves a little deeper into the happenings and potential of the region.
Driven by The View from Here Studios creative team, Belinda injects back to her hometown community providing marketing consultancy and connection with creatives. We also kick started their social marketing which subsequently saw the publication stocked in major Melbourne bookshops Readings and Paperback Bookshop plus a number of cafes around Melbourne's ‘burbs.
On occasion, we write editorial pieces such as Redefine Space.
BESSER SPACE
Located in the heart of Collingwood, Besser Space was a not-for-profit gallery and event space which hosted creative events and art in a variety of forms. A place that welcomed and celebrated local talent. It also doubled as our studio space.
A collaboration between the boss ladies of The Social Crew, This Much Talent and Flock Agency, our aim was to provide artists with an affordable space to hire, which allowed artists to exhibit without any profit made from us as hirers.
Across a span of three years from 2016 to 2018, Besser exhibited locally and internationally renowned artists, photographers and fashion designers. Artists such as Ben Rigby, Caleb Reid, Deams, Julian Meagher, Kaff-eine, Katie Eraser, Jeremy Blincoe, Lucy Lucy, Jacob Hoerner Galleries, Just Another Agency, Unwell Bunny, Robert Bowers, Reko Rennie, Slicer, Sofar Sounds, Zo Damage and more.
Unfortunately due to the changing landscape andeffects of gentrification, we closed the space in 2018. We might do this again one day.
